Recipe - Marzipan Easter Eggs

As far as my experiments in the kitchen are concerned, I usually stick to quick and easy to make dishes. I have made marzipans for Christmas in the past and on a last minute whim, decided to apply the same recipe to make Marzipan Easter Eggs. In my previous post, many of you commented on how yummy the Easter Eggs looked. So here I am sharing this recipe for all of you to make and enjoy.

Recipe - Mysore Pak

I don't really have a sweet tooth and neither does D nor DD. However, one of the rare sweets that we do relish is Mysore Pak. D and I enjoy all the versions, be it soft and smooth or crisp and crumbly. DD only prefers the latter. The former, he feels deserves the tag of halwa and not Mysore Pak 8-|

This has been my go to sweet for special occassions. Firstly, because it is super easy to make and secondly, because we all love it so much.

Lunching Out With D

I know I have been MIA for a loooonnnngggg time now. Been super busy with a ton of things. D's birthday is coming up soon, so loads of preparations on that front too :)

Recently we went out for a family lunch to Pop Tate's. I love the cool, chilled out ambience of the place. We feasted on tacos, chicken lollipops (the best I have had in my life so far), fish and chips and kiwi and litchi juices to wash it all down *burrrp*. Needless to say D was on top of the world, what with all the chicken and fish to pig out on :)

Recipe - Paneer Makhanwala

D is a huge fan of Paneer. That is one vegetarian food item that he is eager to to eat as soon as it is pulled out of the fridge! Such love and reverence is otherwise only reserved for non-vegetarian food. Of course, he eats all other vegetables and loves dal too, but the sight of these don't get him all excited...know what I mean?

The budding cook in me, keeps trying out quick and easy ways to prepare paneer dishes (don't get much time with an over-active toddler around, you see ;) ). After various experiments, this is what I finally settled down for (with a thumbs up from the entire D household :) )
So, this recipe is my version of Paneer Makhanwala.
